What is Cap 100 / Cap100Game?. Cap 100 (Cap100Game) is a free browser NBA fantasy draft and simulation game. You draft five historical NBA player-seasons under a 100 points-per-game cap, then see whether that lineup can project toward an undefeated 82–0 season.

Is Cap 100 free to play?. Yes. Cap 100 is free in the browser. Guests can draft; signed-in players with a display name can save ranked runs, Daily Challenge results, achievements, and rated 1v1 progress. Optional ads may appear when configured.

What does the 100 cap mean?. The cap is a hard ceiling on combined points per game across your five drafted player-seasons. It is the main roster-building constraint; there is no salary budget.

What is a player-season?. A player-season is one specific year from a player’s career, not the player in general. The same star can be a very different pick in different years because scoring, usage, and context change.

Can you actually go 82–0?. That is the central challenge. Cap 100 simulates thousands of full 82-game seasons and reports projected wins, a likely win range, and a probability of a perfect season. Perfect seasons are rare by design.

How is Cap 100 different from fantasy basketball?. Traditional fantasy manages current players over a live schedule. Cap 100 focuses on peak historical seasons, mixed-era roster building under a PPG cap, and full-season simulation rather than weekly lineups.

What is Daily Challenge?. Every Pacific day shares one mode and one franchise seed so everyone sees the same offers. Your first finished run that day can place on the Daily board; the board resets at midnight Pacific.

What are Classic, Scout, Blackout, Aliases, and Jersey?. They are visibility modes. Classic shows full box scores. Scout hides detailed box stats. Blackout redacts random fields. Aliases replace names with aliases. Jersey fogges identity and leans on uniform numbers. Details are on the Modes page.

What is Stakes in 1v1?. Stakes is an unrated Head to Head mode with shared player offers. Both players make sealed bids from their 100-cap budget; the unique high bid wins the player and assigns a lineup role. Tied bids spin a new offer.

Do I need an account?. No for casual play. Yes if you want ranked solo saves, Daily leaderboard placement, achievements, friends, and rated Elo. Create a display name after sign-in so your scores can appear publicly.

Where do the stats come from?. Cap 100 builds its NBA database from publicly available historical season statistics (including Basketball-Reference–style sources in the data pipeline). The projection model is Cap 100’s own trained artifact, not an official NBA product.
